A Peaceful Retreat in Palermo

Discovered a charming café nearby with good pastries. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the quiet street during the day but felt a bit uneasy walking back at night. Avoiding the dimly lit areas is a good tip for safety!

I truly enjoyed magnificent location of this hotel.

Can recommend this place and would love to stay here again. Everything was good, had a very good stay on vacation. It was easy to find a train station, located near the property.

Lighting in the room was poor. The area felt a tad rough around the edges. A 20-minute trek to the center required navigating through busy streets and some unsavory characters on motorcycles. Windows didn't open easily, restricting fresh air, and there was an odd smell lingering in the room that wasn't quite pleasant. Wi-Fi was inconsistent, so I often resorted to using my phone's data.

The location was convenient near the train station, and Giacomo provided excellent recommendations for local food. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the small terrace. Communication was seamless, even without meeting in person. Just a bit noisy at night.

The noise from the street was quite disruptive . We found it hard to get a good night's sleep, especially in the room facing the street. The shared breakfast area felt cramped, and at times, it became quite noisy with other guests.

Giacomo, the host, was helpful and responsive. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a lovely bathroom and a small patio perfect. The shared kitchen area with coffee and tea options was a great addition, and having complimentary beverages in the fridge was a good surprise. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and close to local restaurants serving authentic Sicilian cuisine.

Bella Palermo is a gem! The outdoor dining area was perfect for sipping on coffee while munching on delicious homemade pastries. The host was super helpful, greeting us with a welcome gift and great tips on nearby eats. Plus, the location is a short stroll from the train station and awesome local restaurants like Pizzeria Polleria del Vespro.

Just a heads up, the neighborhood feels a bit rough around the edges, and the shared breakfast facilities could get noisy with other guests. Space for luggage is tight, but we made it work!

The double room had a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and a microwave; the location was central, close to Ballaro market, the historical center.
